Molecular mass markers (lane M) are DIG-labeled bacteriophage lambda DNA digested with HindIII (Roche Diagnostics, Castle Hill, New South Wales, Australia). Primers and polymerase chain reaction conditions used to generate the IS200 probe have been previously described (6).
