Simulated CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocyte dynamics after permanent treatment with anti-CD8 antibodies started 2 years after the acquisition of the HIV infection. Cells mediating the protective anti-HIV immune reaction are not affected by this treatment ([[INLINEGRAPHIC('96-0405-M2')]]R = 0.007, C = 0.0).
