XbaI and NotI pulsed-field gel electrophoresis patterns for clonal group C Escherichia coli isolated from women with urinary tract infections in Montréal, Québec, Canada, 2006 (lanes 304, 439, 362, 363, and 414) and Berkeley, California, USA, 1999–2001 (lanes 410, 316, 458, 1688, and 1996). The 10 isolates shown were susceptible to all antimicrobial drugs tested and included serogroups O1, O2, or O18. First and last lanes, bacteriophage λ; lane +, positive control.
