A dendrogram was generated with Bionumerics software (Applied Maths, Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium). The PFGE profile (and if there were indistinguishable isolates in the PulseNet USA database [www.cdc.gov/pulsenet], the corresponding Centers for Disease Control and Prevention PulseNet profile), the number of isolates, and the β-lactamase genes are indicated.
