Lanes 1, 3: Clostridium botulinum type A isolated from enema sample; lanes 2, 4: C. botulinum type A isolated from peanut butter obtained from residence of patient. Samples in lanes 1 and 2 were digested with SmaI; samples in lanes 3 and 4 were digested with XhoI.
