Figure

Polymerase chain reaction for PspA families 1 and 2: lanes 1 and 2 were controls for families 1 and 2, respectively. Lanes 3 to 7 and 9 (Co-24, Co-25, Co-26, Co-27, Co-28, Co-29, Co-30 isolates) were family 1. Lane 8 (Co-29) did not amplify with either family. The molecular weight was 1-kb ladder DNA (Promega).
