I cannot access a paper that I have agreed to review for EID because I cannot login to my account. What is wrong with my account?
- Most likely, you have a duplicate account in ScholarOne under another email address. Check your records to see if that is the case and login using that email and associated password. If you have multiple accounts and would prefer to have to have the accounts merged into a single account, contact EID’s administrative staff at eideditor@cdc.gov.
- Indicate which email you want to use for your primary account. Once your accounts are merged, EID’s administrative staff will send you an email confirming the change. You will then have access through a single email and should be able to review the paper.
I made a mistake on my ScholarOne submission or realized that there is incorrect or inaccurate information in the manuscript. Should I “unsubmit” the paper to correct it?
-
Probably not. It is typically simpler for the administrative team to assist authors in correcting mistakes. Send a request with details for an update or correction to eideditor@cdc.gov. EID staff will correct it for you in ScholarOne and follow up if more information is needed.
- Note: This procedure is not intended for simple edits or rewording of a manuscript.
Contact the journal staff at eideditor@cdc.gov if you cannot find an answer in the Author Instructions or need additional help or information.
