MLVA profiles are defined by repeat numbers after the following variable number tandem repeat (VNTR) locus order: 3/34/9/25/17/19/36/37 with EDL933 as standard with the following MLVA profile: 9/10/11/5/6/6/8/7 (based on genome sequence analysis). Strains belonged to 1 cluster if they differed at <2 VNTR loci.
